Worship is at the heart of our community life. Shoreline Unitarian Universalist
Society gathers every week to revel in our liberal religious community through singing, thoughtful readings, meditation and prayer. Thought-provoking reflections, generous giving and sharing are also part our Sunday mornings. We enjoy stories for all ages when our children join us at the beginning of the morning. Our worship services range from deeply introspective to intellectually challenging to celebratory.
Music is an important part of our Sunday services. We drink deeply from its varied streams, including spirited jazz, moving classical, folk guitar, and rousing hymns, all under the leadership of our Music Director, Jill Walthall. Our lively Choir offers anthems twice a month. Worship brings us together to raise our voices in appreciation of our shared values and aspirations.

Our minister, the Reverend Claudia Elferdink, leads our services with our lay-led Sunday Services Committee. Rev. Elferdink, who serves as our three-quarter-time Minister, offers sermons for about half of our services. On the other Sundays, we enjoy guest ministers, speakers and visiting musicians. Please see the Schedule of Upcoming Services for more information.
