Judy Bruce-Mangle is the Director of Lifespan Religious Education. She has been at SUUS for the past ten years, and will be retiring at the end of the current church year, June 2011. Previously Judy served the Unitarian Society of New Haven in Hamden from 1985-2000. Earlier in her career she was a high school social studies teacher at home and overseas. In addition, she was an elementary school teacher and teacher trainer with the US Peace Corps. Judy is married to Harry Mangle and is the mother of three adult children and the step-mother of an adult son, and grandmother of eight. Her education includes a BA in history, over sixty hours of graduate courses in the social sciences, counseling, and education, and a certificate from the UUA Renaissance Program.
