Shoreline Spring Festival

Come one, come all to this FREE, family-friendly event! One hundred different artists, photographers, crafts people, jewelers, farmers, fair trade and food vendors will be on the Madison Green on Saturday, May 15, rain or shine. Non-profits such as Call to Care Uganda, Roses for Autism, Vista Vocational & Life Skills, and green & eco-friendly companies such as, Viridian Energy and BeFree Green Energy will also be represented. Local farmers and chefs will have coffee, teas, honey, herbs, maple syrup, breads, pastries, pies, cookies, homemade fudge and candies, fresh produce, plants and flowers. Something for everyone!
Live music will begin around noon with world-renowned folk musicians, Jim Scott, and Martha Sandefer. Jim has recorded and shared the stage with luminaries from Carnegie Hall to the Newport Jazz Festival with the Paul Winter Consort and the Great Peace March with folk legend Pete Seeger. Martha is a member of Work O’ the Weavers, a group that echoes the music of The Weavers with faithful adherence to their original arrangements. She has put her powerful and resonant voice to work for the causes of peace and justice for over thirty years.
