Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Society Guest's Page

To our guests who come to a service at SUUS: We know you may feel a little ill at ease the first time you visit - not knowing anyone or how things are done. Because we are concerned that you feel comfortable and welcome here, we have prepared this page just for you.

Getting Started

First, stop at our Guest book just inside the door in the foyer and say hello. Our Greeter of the morning will be able to answer any of your questions about Unitarian Universalism and our congregation in particular. Please be sure to ask the Greeter for a hearing aid if you have difficulty hearing.

Second, sign our Guest Book if you would like to receive our newsletter (be sure to give us your Email address). Be sure to pick up a copy of our Newsletter, right near the Visitors' Book. It will inform you of all the happenings at SUUS.

Third, enroll your children in the religious education program. Our Greeter will direct you to our Religious Education Director and classrooms. If you have a very small child, you will find small child care happening on the lower level - in our "coffee room."

Fourth, plan to go downstairs after the service for coffee or tea. There you will have an opportunity to mingle with our members and ask questions about us. It will also give us an opportunity to know you a little better.

See Mary Strieff, our President, or Kathy Helmrich, our Membership Chair, at coffee hour. They will be glad to sit down with you over coffee to answer any questions you may have, or just to get to know you better. Meeting with them is a great way to discover how your interests and gifts can find a home here at Shoreline.
