Religious Education Calendar of upcoming events:

October 4: We will have a very special guest coming to speak to the RE classes, a refugee and her daughter from Syria. Don’t miss this Sunday!

October 4: CROP Walk to end hunger is this Sunday. It would be really nice to have some families participate in this. Assemble at 1pm by Guilford Green and walk in the autumn air to relieve hunger and raise money for life-saving loans and projects worldwide. Contact: Yann van Heurck.

October 11: There will be no Religious Education classes due to the Columbus Day holiday weekend. Organized activities will be provided for children 5th grade and younger.

October 18: Religious Education classes resume as normal.

October 24: SUUS Haunted House Halloween Party (Saturday)

Save the Dates:

Friday, November 13, 6pm: “With Justice and Compassion” Family Night. All are welcome! The children who are studying about immigration in their religious education classes will host a dinner for parents and others interested, where they will present their work.

Saturday, November 14, time TBA: Trip to Ellis Island in New York City to see the immigration processing center from the late 19th to early 20th century. Open to all children and interested youth in the Religious Education program.
