At the November Environmental Team meeting, the attendees targeted two areas for their initial effort: supporting the town-by-town Fracking Waste Ban and moving toward making SUUS a Green Sanctuary, as much as is possible given any limitations of the vintage structure.
With the expertise of Food and Water Watch representative, Jen Siskind, Madison residents from Shoreline (and from the community) attended the December 4th meeting of the Board of Selectmen to request that they add a presentation and discussion of the Ban to their agenda on December 18th.The issue has been place on the agenda for the 7:00-8:00 evening meeting on December 18th. All concerned Madison residents are encouraged to attend.
