The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson will be discussed by the SUUS Book Group at 4 PM on Thursday, January 11. This National Book Award winner tells the story of the migration of African Americans from the South to the Midwest from approximately 1915 until the 1970’s. Please join us.
And on Thursday, February 8, also at 4PM, the book choice is Elizabeth Street by Laurie Fabiano. This novel is based on the author’s family’s experiences tells stories of Italian immigrants at the start of the 20th century.
