Come to the Soup Social – by Ava Partch
Do you remember when you were a child raising money for a field trip? Selling Girl Scout cookies or Boy Scout popcorn? Everyone wins something: the nice couple who bought your snacks gets something to snack on, and you get your money to go to Disneyland or Six Flags.
Recently, SUUS decided to do a Coming of Age class for my age group (9/10th grade). They decided we should go to Boston where the UU headquarters is located.
Don’t you remember wanting to see Mickey or Minnie Mouse or getting soaked at Six Flags with your friends? Now, to help us raise money to go to Boston, instead of buying cookies or popcorn, you can buy a bowl of soup. Nothing too special, but warm comforting soup. On October 20th after service.
As a UU, I want to learn more and my class would absolutely love to go. So, please be that nice caring human being and buy our soup.

Cost: $5 per person, or $15 per family
