Faith Formation News – 12/3/20

Dear SUUS Families,

As we prepare for December, here’s a before and after picture of our Christmas tree and Chester saying, “Happy December!”

Sunday, December 6 at 10:30am – “Epiphanies of Possibility” – Rev. Terry Sweetser
It’s hard to know what’s awesome, to understand what will inspire awe or how to predict if something will become known as awesome. Let’s ponder awesome.

*PLEASE NOTE: There is a FALL ANNUAL MEETING directly following the worship service this week.

Sunday, December 13 at 10:30am – “Festivals of Fire” – Rev. Terry Sweetser
“G. E. Wright, one of the most renowned biblical scholars living said, “You can take Christmas out of the New Testament, and you don’t lose much. Christmas is on the edge of not meaning much. It’s just another mid-winter struggle holiday like Hanukkah, Diwali, and Kwanzaa.” Or is it?
