Faith Formation News – 1/28/21

Dear SUUS Families,

Clear your calendar for this Sunday morning because you won’t want to miss our Faith Formation activities! Zoom in for worship at 10:30am as we conclude the monthly theme of “Imagination,” and to hear the “Story for All” written and illustrated by YOU, Faith Formation Families! Following the service we will continue on Zoom to meet with local legislators to ask questions and learn more about what it means to be a member of the community. And speaking of community, “Beloved Community” is our theme for February!

Check out a few of our fabulous story illustrators below!

E-see you on Sunday!

Love,
Amy

WORSHIP
Sunday, January 31 at 10:30am: Imagination and Commitment are Dangerous” – Rev. Terry Sweetser
Finding work with imagination and commitment is never easy, but throw eternal damnation and social rejection into the mix and vocation becomes near impossible.

Virtual Chalice Lighters Needed!
Would your family like to light the chalice for a worship service? It’s a great way to engage your child to participate on Sunday mornings and join in community together. Please be in touch if you are interested. Many thanks to those who have been sharing your light!

CLASSES

Sunday, January 31 – ZOOM FF Family Chapel, Chat w/Local Legislators & Activity

What is a legislator and who are these people?! Come with questions and thoughts about what is important to you that your elected officials might be able to help with. Following the discussion we will put our words into action and write letters to further the conversation. Your legislator’s job is to represent you and your community! How can they help YOU to create a better world?! Please see the FF Friday E-blast for Zoom link and more details!
