Faith Formation News – 3/18/21

Look at all that FOOD! Thanks, Everyone!

Dear SUUS Families,

Dual thanks go out to the Martino Family this week! First, it was a delivery of food to Amistad on Saturday, and then a very competitive Zoom Quizlet on Sunday! Grandparents joined the fun, and whoever ended up on Gordon’s team seemed to always win the game! Go Gordon! And thank you, Martinos!

This Sunday, I invite ALL to join us on Zoom to support Sebastian, Lucienne & Maeve as they are Dedicated. There will be fabulous music, reflections, and a Story for All. I hope you can make it to worship at 10:30am as we Bless & Commit to love and support our children and families together.

Who’s ready to commit to the Easter Virtual Choir Project?! So far I have three takers! Can I get another voice? Young, old, big or small, I invite ALL to join in the singing! If you can talk, you can sing! Seriously, I mean that.

Can’t wait to E-see you on Sunday!

Love,
Amy

SOCIAL JUSTICE
Amistad Catholic Worker House Food Drive
So far we have made TWO deliveries of food to Amistad thanks to the Skudder Jobson & Martino Families! And the food drive CONTINUES! Please consider supporting our neighbors at Amistad Catholic Worker House in East Haven, CT where Luz Catarineau and her husband Mark Colville have been feeding the homeless since 1994. Now more than ever they need our help, and even in a global pandemic they continue to provide breakfast and lunch to those in need. Please review the list below and if you are able, kindly deliver your items to the covered bins at the top outdoor stairs at SUUS. If you are unable to contribute food at this time, they are always accepting prayers. For more information about Amistad, please visit their website: https://amistadcw.wordpress.com/
