Faith Formation News – 4/1/21

Happy Easter!

Dear SUUS Families,

The joy of Spring & Easter was evident last week in the eyes and smiles of the children! THANK YOU, Jennifer, Scott & Sarah Swenson for the amazing Easter Egg Hunt, Activities & Photography last Sunday. Even with heavy rain and wind, you managed to organize a fantastic Faith Formation gathering! THANK YOU, Benna Lehrer & David Dwyer for hosting the event and to all who participated! Even our youth came to hangout! Well, they did have class afterwards and I believe there may have been donuts involved. 🙂

Tune in for the Zoom Easter service on Sunday at 10:30am to hear the children sing in the choir, to listen to an Easter story & to see a video presentation from the Easter Egg Hunt!

Coming of Age!

Love,
Amy

SOCIAL JUSTICE
Amistad Catholic Worker House Food Drive
So far we have made TWO deliveries of food to Amistad thanks to the Skudder Jobson & Martino Families! And the food drive CONTINUES! Please consider supporting our neighbors at Amistad Catholic Worker House in East Haven, CT where Luz Catarineau and her husband Mark Colville have been feeding the homeless since 1994. Now more than ever they need our help, and even in a global pandemic they continue to provide breakfast and lunch to those in need. Please review the list below and if you are able, kindly deliver your items to the covered bins at the top outdoor stairs at SUUS. If you are unable to contribute food at this time, they are always accepting prayers. For more information about Amistad, please visit their website: https://amistadcw.wordpress.com/
