Faith Formation News – 5/13/21

Dear SUUS Families,

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful week! The hummingbirds are officially back, and I saw our first monarch butterfly in the yard yesterday! Each morning, Viviana and I wake up and dash outside to see what new life awaits! It is such an exciting time of the year! We’ve also been listening to the video below and jamming out in deep gratitude for our “Precious Human Lives.” Check it out and let me know what you think? Some of you might remember the video from the Child Dedication service back in March.

This Sunday is Flower Communion, and then we will meet up for a hike in Madison to see the beautiful wildflowers in nature! This spot was highly recommended by one of our youth too! After the hike and only a few miles away, you are invited to grab an ice cream at the Dairy Barn! Check out more details below. I sure hope you can join us as we continue to write and live our story of being Unitarian Universalists!

“Every day,
Think as you wake up,
Today I am fortunate to have woken up,
I am alive,
I have a precious human life,
And I’m not going to waste it!”
-Dalai Lama

Love,
Amy
