Dear SUUS Families,
I hope you enjoyed the long weekend and are noticing the leaves changing during this Fall transition. It’s such a miraculous time of year when we pause to observe nature. Using all of your senses, what have you noticed? Sometimes I feel like I can smell Fall. Can you? My dog, Chester, LOVES this time of year. He has an actual spring in his step, and it’s not just because he’s chasing squirrels and chipmunks! The picture of him above was after a short swim when he stopped to observe nature – sniffing, nibbling grass and feeling the coolness of the water. He was like a statue soaking it all in. I hope you take the time to pause and soak in the beauty of Fall.
This Sunday, please join us for OUTDOOR WORSHIP at 10:30am and a Faith Formation activity during the service. Parents, grab a coffee and come on over to SUUS to worship together in the gorgeous outdoors as Rev. Terry shares a reflection titled – “Forsake & Forgive.” Children will leave the service after the offering and join me and Scott Swenson for a Pre-K and Up outdoor Faith Formation class. We will learn a new song and make Thanksgiving cards for those in the Madison community who are homebound for the holiday.
