Faith Formation News – 11/4/21

Dear SUUS Families,

Happy November! Instead of going out of October with a BANG, we went out with a BASH (or “Monster Mash!”)! Thanks to the ever so clever Swensons, Faith Formation families came together for an afternoon of Halloween festivities at SUUS! The sun was shining and so were the faces of our children. There was a limbo line, pumpkin decorating, scavenger hunt, spooky story, BINGO, freeze dance, jewelry making and lots of playing on the playscape! Not to mention, the most incredible Halloween buckets filled to the brim with arts & crafts goodies! Thanks to the Lagasses, we stuffed our faces full of delicious cotton candy! We also collected a TON of food for the Thanksgiving Food Drive! Woohoo! THANK YOU to all who attended and contributed to this festive occasion! Viviana is already asking about next year’s party! It was a “grave yard smash!”

Since we partied down last weekend, this Sunday the children will take a Faith Formation break. However, MOMs Group is scheduled to meet on Saturday morning at 11am & Youth are going SHOPPING for the soup kitchen in the afternoon. Please check the Friday Eblast for more details!

Fall back with your clocks and enjoy your weekend! See you on Sunday, November 14 for Outdoor Worship & Faith Formation Class.

Until then, I send blessings to all!

Love,
Amy
