Dear SUUS Families,
Punxsutawney Phil may say six more weeks of winter, but that’s not going to stop Faith Formation! Grab your outdoor gear this Sunday at 1pm for a HIKE for ALL AGES at Turtle Creek Preserve in Old Saybrook led by the Martino Family!
Following the hike we will have a CAR CARD PARTY and make Valentine creations to be sent to members of our beloved SUUS community. We will provide the materials and all you need to do is clean the trunk or make space in your vehicle for some CAR ART! Once the Valentine’s Day cards are complete, we will venture a few miles down the road to Deep River Roasters for a hot drink & snack. Details are below! Hope to see you on Sunday!

Sunday, February 6 at 1pm – HIKE for ALL AGES at Turtle Creek Preserve in Old Saybrook
The Martino Family has graciously offered to lead a 1.8 mile loop Hike for ALL Ages this Sunday. Meet in the parking area and please wear appropriate footwear for wet, soggy and/or snowy conditions! “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing” – From Alfred Wainwright‘s 1973 book Coast to Coast. 😉 Hope to see you then! *Pets on leash are welcome!*
Directions: From Interstate 95: Take Route 9N to Exit 2. Go N on Route 154 for .8 miles, then right onto Watrous Point Road. The entrance and parking area are .2 miles on the left.

We are collecting Birthday Party goods to create an “instant party” for families in need. Please consider donating any of the following items before Saturday, February 12.
