What’s New from the Board of Trustees

After much discussion and thoughtfulness by the Worship Team (Rev. Terry, Amy, and Nick) and the Covid-19 Team, we have some updates we are excited to share with our congregation of members and friends.

You will no longer need to make a reservation to attend indoor services. Please still check the Weekly News and Saturday reminder to know if the service will be indoors our outside in our lovely garden area. If the weather is warm and not raining, we will most likely be outdoors…so bring a chair. If it’s cold or rainy, we will be indoors. Both venues will be at full capacity. Masks and vaccination for indoor services are required. Masks are optional if the service is outdoors.

Singing is encouraged! Congregants with masks on if indoors, those leading the song without masks at a distance.

Small groups can gather at SUUS indoors with masks and vaccination check.

Children and families are welcome to join the service at the beginning through the story for all and then go off to their Faith Formation activities indoors or outside.

We will still have an online option if you are unable to attend in person. Check the weekly news and Saturday reminder to see if it will be over Zoom or Facebook.

Save the date of May 15th for a Town Hall Meeting after the service to hear about the wonderful work that our Communications Team has done in reaching out to the wider UU community to join in an outreach program. We also will have some important information about the 2022/2023 budget to share.

Looking ahead to June, we will hold our Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 5th, right after our service. Please plan to attend as we will need a quorum to vote on our budget and slate of leadership nominees.

In Faith,
Sue Schaedler
