On Saturday, 19 April, SUUS will hold a potluck Seder beginning at 5 PM in Fellowship Hall. All families of one or more are invited. The RE Team supplies the items that go on the Seder plate. Attendees bring the food and wine or juice for the meal. Sign-up sheets are in the main entrance foyer and Fellowship Hall.
- Signing up is really helpful so we know how many to set up for and how much “stuff” to get for the seder plates.
- Please email Molly Nolan if you will not be at SUUS this Sunday and want to take part in the Seder.
- No regular flour or leavening should be used in what you bring. There are recipes all over the Internet or contact Molly Nolan for ideas.
- To tell the story, we use the “Oranges and Olives: A Modern, Interfaith Family Passover Haggadah” written by Nancy Cronk, a former Jewish religious educator and UU DRE, which has the traditional “feel” and order of a Reform Seder, with a few unexpected “twists”
