The SUUS Book Group meets on the second Thursday of every month at 4 PM.
The choice for October (meeting on October 12,) is Maiden Flight by Guilford by author, Harry Haskell. This is the story of Katherine Wright, who stepped away from her famous brothers and built a life of her own.
On November 9, the group will be discussing The Day the World Came to Town by Jim DeFede. This is the remarkable story of the citizens of Gander, Newfoundland who opened their homes to 6,000 stranded airline passengers on September 11, 2001.
On December 14, the book group will be discussing a selection of plays chosen by the group members.
