On Sunday, January 6, the Gender Issues Justice Team will discuss homelessness with our children and youth classes. We hope to fill 50 “blessing bags” with useful items to donate to New Reach, Inc. in New Haven.
Due to the fact that most clients spend an average of three months in this shelter, we are collecting FULL SIZE bottles of the following. If you have sample sizes, please put them in the Food Pantry box as they are perfect for the shoreline pantries!
- shampoos and conditioners
- deodorants
- soaps
- toothpaste and toothbrushes
- children’s toothpaste and children’s toothbrushes
- children’s shampoos and soaps
A box labeled “Blessing Bags Donations” is in the Coffee Room near the Food Pantry Bin. No feminine products, snacks or food are needed at this shelter.
