Note special service time & location: Jacob’s Beach, 140 Seaside Avenue, Guilford
Join us for our annual outdoor service where we celebrate the arrival of summer and our youth. Our children’s “Neighboring Faiths” class will offer their reflections on what they learned this year, and, we will celebrate our graduating seniors in a Bridging rite of passage. The service will be followed by our annual summer picnic.
Special Instructions:
- Please arrive at the pavilions at Jacob’s Beach by 10:30 am to settle in and enjoy the summer season. The Sunday Service begins at 11:00 am.
- We will have this service, light rain or shine, at Jacob’s Beach, 140 Seaside Avenue, Guilford, CT. (Check our website in case of more serious weather.)
- Please bring food to share for a pot-luck lunch to follow the service. Grills are available as needed.
- Children are welcome, though parents are responsible for their safety. There will be a life guard on duty.
- Wear comfortable clothes, sensible shoes/hat and bring bug spray/sunscreen.
- We will be sitting at picnic tables. Feel free to bring your own chair if you would be more comfortable.
- There are accessible restrooms in the park.
You are invited to bring a dish to share. In case of rain, the service will be at SUUS, and the food gathering will be there.
