Dear SUUS Families,
A special THANK YOU shout out goes to the Martino Family for leading the Turtle Creek Preserve Hike last Sunday! It was slippery, but so much fun! Gordon definitely gets the award for the heaviest lifting since he pulled a double sled the whole hike! Go Gordon! The views of the river were fantastic as well as the company! We look forward to traveling the trails again in the spring when it will be a whole different landscape.
There are a lot of Faith Formation happenings this Sunday. If you are participating in the IRIS Walk, meetup info is below under “Youth Group.” If you can’t make the walk, please consider donating to TEAM SUUS in support of the incredible work IRIS does for refugees and immigrants in our communities. We’ve already raised $485! WOOHOO! Thank you, Ned, for setting up the donation page and thank you, Scott & Enrique for leading TEAM SUUS on Sunday!
After the 5K, head over to SUUS at 1pm for some yummy Valentine’s Day goodies and to have some fun & fellowship! FAITH FORMATION FAMILIES of ALL AGES are WELCOME! Jennifer Swenson has put together a real Valentine’s Day Bash featuring FIVE different CREATION STATIONS (see below). Thank you, Jennifer, for your creativity and spirit!

The Valentine’s Day Party will be an indoor/outdoor event. Attendees who are eligible must be fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized vaccine and show proof of vaccination at the door. Masked are required while inside the building.

The Birthday collection is coming to an end and we are in need of a few additional items! We would be grateful for Birthday Gift Bags (large enough to make a kit) & Birthday Cards. Last day for donations is Saturday, February 12. There is a bin at the top of the SUUS steps for collection.
