For this spring, the Social Events and Activities Committee has chosen for the SUUS Common Read “An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States.” This title was the 2019-2020 choice for the UUA Common Read. United States history is told through a narrative that centers on the story, the experiences and the perspectives of indigenous people.
Everyone is invited to read the book, and then we will come together to discuss it. We will use the discussion materials that were developed by the UUA. The book is available in area libraries and can be purchased at booksellers.
A discussion will take place on Wednesday, April 27 at 7:00 in the Meeting Room at SUUS.
