October is here, and with the new month brings a new theme to explore! “COURAGE” is our focus this month and I welcome you to join our EXPLORATION!
There will be Worship & Faith Formation this Sunday, October 2 at 1030am. Elise Morrison will lead the service and there will be a very special Faith Formation guest joining me for the Story for All… You won’t want to miss this one! Hint: bring your dancing shoes!

“Interception” with Elise Morrison
“Whether or not you are a football fan (for the record, I am not), you likely know about the most exciting, game changing moment in the sport: the interception. What do you do when you suddenly get the opportunity to make the change you’ve been hoping for? What does it feel like to make a choice with all eyes and the outcome of the game resting on you? Or what if you always assumed it would be someone else making the brilliant streak in a new direction, but all of a sudden it is up to you? Football is not church, but it may offer us some rich insights into what it means to hold your courage at the ready, for that moment when you get to be the change you’ve been waiting for.”

**Children & youth must be REGISTERED ONLINE to participate in Faith Formation activities.**
**Until we confirm nursery care, children younger than kindergarten are very welcome to join Faith Formation explorations, but need to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Thanks so much!**

The classes will run from October through May from 10-11:30am at All Souls and Jennifer Swenson will be one of the facilitators. Thank you Jennifer for committing to our youth and this program! If enrolling in Faith Formation, participants who are eligible per the CDC (ages 6mo. +) must show proof of vaccination. Masks are required indoors. YOUTH GROUP
Do you have a High School youth interested in joining Youth Group? All high school aged youth are welcome to participate and create together a space of friendship and fun! Youth Advisors for 2022-23 are Benna Lehrer & Amy Buckley Velasquez. Contact us for more details!
SOCIAL JUSTICE
Collection for Local Food Pantries! Faith Formation will continue to support efforts to help stock the Madison Food Pantry! We will collect items listed below until further notice. Help spread the word and help Faith Formation with this SOCIAL JUSTICE project!
