Thank you to everyone who helped support my Raise the Roof gala fundraiser! The event was last Friday, and it went very well. As I was expecting, it was nerve racking to go out and dance in front of a huge group of people, but it felt really good to actually be doing it. A lot of people helped organize the event, fundraising pages, and dance lessons, and it was all definitely worth it. My dance partner and I raised almost $6000 of the more than $100,000 that was raised as a part of the Gala of the Stars fundraiser. The money will go towards building new houses for Raise the Roof for Habitat for Humanity in our area. SUUS members and friends donated a total of $1565.61! Thank you again for supporting this amazing cause, the event was a huge success!
