A Letter from the Board – 12/1/22

Hello everyone. We hope you had a relaxing, healthy, and joyful Thanksgiving – one filled with gratitude and appreciation.

Thanks to all who attended the recent Congregational Meeting. We appreciate the questions and comments that were made. If you have further comments, please reach out to any Board member. And, special thanks to the Vision Fund Custodians for their work to move the Fund assets to the Unitarian Universalist Common Endowment Fund (UUCEF), providing sound investment management that aligns with UU values and goals. What a wonderful trip down memory lane at the recent celebration of SUUS’s 60th anniversary! It is a testament to the dedication, commitment, and work of so many people over all or part of 7 decades that SUUS remains such a vibrant community of love and generosity. Here’s to the next 60 years!

We have updated our Covid policy several times over the past year, as pandemic conditions evolve. In keeping with this approach, we are making another revision to our policy. We will make masks optional for small groups that meet in the building, leaving it to the discretion of the group as to whether they want their attendees to wear masks. We will continue to require masks for all those over 2 years old in the sanctuary during services and in the Fellowship Hall during coffee/snack time. As always, your continued support of our Covid safety protocols is greatly appreciated.

Wishing you well –
Sue Schaedler and Gary Feder
