Please join us this Sunday, November 12 at 10:30am for our next Faith Formation Exploration. Children will start the morning with their families in the sanctuary for the first 15 minutes, then all the children and youth will go upstairs to work on social justice projects. The kids will be writing letters on issues, including climate change. We are also going to start organizing for our social justice project for New London Homeless Hospitality Center. Potluck dinner and Game nightJoin the congregation on Friday November 10th at 5:30pm for potluck dinner and game night. Bring your favorite game and some food to share. Giant Connect Four, Apples to Apples, or Twister anyone! Multi generational Service on November 19We are looking for volunteers for small speaking parts. If you are interested in helping out in the service please let us know. Social justice project We made 30 birthday cake kits which were donated to the Clinton food pantry! Our next project will be collecting items for The Homeless Hospitality Center in New London: We need toiletries and backpacks.to create a Welcome Home Baskets. The welcome home basket will contain the basic necessities for setting up a new home. |
We need: travel size shampoos and conditioners, soap toothbrushes & toothpaste, dental floss razors & shaving cream lotion alcohol-free mouthwash socks We will be collecting items through the end of December Welcome Home Basket for New London Homeless Hospitality centerHelp us give someone the basic necessities to set up their new home.
