You are invited to our third session of “This I Believe” after a potluck coffee hour. Please bring some food to share and stay for our discussion.
Some of you may remember an NPR series in which noted folks shared a brief essay of their belief on a core value. This activity was actually begun in the 1950s by journalist Edward R. Murrow and still continues today in various formats.
Our idea is to play a couple of recorded essays and then have a discussion.
An extension activity to be considered is the formation of a writing group for folks who would like to develop their own essays and share them.
