What We Are Doing
We ask you to join UU the Vote and Shoreline Indivisible to learn what we as a congregation can do to support our values and our principles. Contribute what you can. Study up on the issues. Volunteer. We will keep you informed of our post carding project from now through the election. Donations to offset the cost of stamps is appreciated.
Non-partisan postcards are available to write and send. These packs include complete instructions, a script, mailing deadlines, addresses and stamps. DONATIONS OF $10/PACK OF POSTCARDS HELP TO OFFSET THE PRINTING AND POSTAGE COSTS. Please give cash or checks to Mary Strieff.
We will send out more updates as to what states and issues we are targeting. Our nonpartisan participation requires us not to promote any one candidate, but to focus on GOTV (Get Out The Vote) and to support candidates whose values and principles are aligned with our faith.
