The Rev. Douglas L. Clark, who was ordained to the Christian ministry in the United Church of Christ in 1975, served congregations in Massachusetts, Maine, Southern California, the metro Washington, DC area, and Connecticut until his retirement in 2017. Since his awakening to the climate crisis in 2018, he has channeled his anxiety and curiosity about human-caused global warming into extensive reading, writing, contemplation, conversation, and walking in the woods in Guilford.
