As we enter a new year, despite our best efforts we can be hampered by what remained unfinished from last year while being anxious about what lies ahead. How will we make it through while carrying burdens of our own making and those we ourselves have not created?
William Lord Margraf is a third year student at Yale Divinity School. He is a native New Yorker where he has practiced clinical social work with marginalized communities. In the 1990’s he was a Franciscan brother working at a parish on the Upper West Side as well as serving in Harlem. William is fascinated by the artistic process as well as finding meaning and making repair with regard to racial reconciliation in contemporary communities as well as his own family history.
