Special Performances at SUUS – Jan. 31 & Feb. 1: “We Lived Only For the Music”

This concert is in commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day.

As a gay man, married to a Jewish women, Max Lorenz defied Hitler and still survived the perils of the Third Reich.

This one-man show, written and performed by Marc Deaton, portrays Max Lorenz, the once crown prince of the German opera world and sometimes referred to as Hitler’s Siegfried. 

The evening continues with an interview with Marc Deaton and journalist, Pem McNerney.
