Are you a Notary Public in Connecticut, or would you like to become one? Would you like to help families at HAVEN Free Clinic in New Haven on Saturday mornings this winter and spring?
The Unitarian Society of New Haven has been contacted by students at Yale Law School’s Medical-Legal Partnership who are assisting patients/parents to arrange guardianship for their children in case the parents are deported. The project will need Notaries Public when patients sign the documents.
Dates are February 1, 8, 15 and 22; March 8, 29;
April 5, 12, and 19. Hours are 8:30-1:00 at the
Yale Physicians Building, 800 Howard Ave., New Haven.
Scheduling is flexible. Parking is free in the adjoining garage. For information about HAVEN Medical-Legal partnership, contact Eamon Coburn, one of the student directors, eamon.coburn@yale.edu.
