Join Sue and George Schaedler on December 21st at 1pm
for your first hike of the Winter Solstice
at Chatfield Hollow.

We will take a moderate hike starting out on a horse trail and then connect to the Blue/White trail back to the parking lot. This loop trail is a little over 3 miles and will take approximately 2 hours. There are a few areas of short steep incline or decline so hiking poles might be nice to have.
We will pass some streams and rock walls which will probably be covered in icicles so wear good not skid footwear in case of occasional icy or wet conditions. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
To join us, drive into the park past the admission booth. Go over the little bridge and shortly after that turn right into a gravel parking lot. It will be the first parking lot on the right inside the park. You should see the wide dirt road straight ahead as you pull into the lot. We will meet at the entrance of that road to begin our hike. If you have any questions, please contact Sue Schaedler.
