First Congregational Church has invited SUUS to hear immigration attorney, Dan Berger speak, followed by a Q&A.

Mr. Berger has over 25 years of experience in immigration law, focusing on DACA and undocumented students, helping them evaluate long-term status options. He advises thedream.us — the nation’s largest private scholarship fund for Dreamers, with over 10,000 scholarships awarded in ten years — and co-founded a DACA clinic at Cornell focused on employment-based pathways. He also recently helped lead a pilot program for President Biden’s waiver program enabling Dreamers to gain status through employer sponsorship.
Dan’s interest in immigration began at Harvard, where he studied immigration history and taught English to adult refugees, and he graduated from Cornell Law School
