Congratulations to all involved in last week’s phone blitz. We kept the chain going! Let’s continue activating for justice together!
The phone blitz has been extended to 80 hours! On Friday, February 13th we will sponsor yet another phone blitz hour, from 3PM-4:00PM.
The way it works is that we Connecticut UUs recruit 20 people for our hour to make a phone call to key members of Congress every 3 minutes during our two hours of the blitz. Scripts/info are then provided.
Different UU groups from around the country are sponsoring different hours. As a result, these key members of Congress will be hearing from UUs every 3 minutes for a second week in a row to say we want ICE OUT!
If you didn’t get to participate last week, this is your chance! This is a 5-10 minute commitment in your day. Please RSVP here (ignore my name at the top and scroll down to see open time slots). After you RSVP, please also forward this email to at least two friends from your congregation, encouraging them to join you in signing up for a slot.
