SUUS will share our Plate with CT Shoreline Indivisible to help them with costs in their Get Out the Vote postcard campaign.
CT Shoreline Indivisible has distributed (and volunteers have written) more than ONE MILLION postcards since the campaigns started in 2017.
In partnership with Common Ground, UU the Vote, and other faith-based groups across the country, they inform voters—especially voters of color and those living in states actively working to suppress the vote—of where to vote, when to vote, and what to bring with them to vote. Money raised goes to paying for postcards and stamps (now $13 for a sheet of 20), printing supplies, bags, and rubber bands.
This is something that each one of us can do to protect our nation and move it towards a more perfect union. Thank you for what you do!
