It was a packed sanctuary at the beautiful Congregation Mishkan Israel last Sunday where Maria Puziello and Mary Strieff heard speakers and candidates share their stories and extoll their successes over the past 15 years.

- $3200 CT Baby Bond Program for every child born on or after July 1, 2023, whose birth is covered by HUSKY Health. Available when they turn 18.
- In-state tuition and driver’s licenses for undocumented residents.
- Led the campaign for CLEAN SLATE which has now benefited more than 150,000 people.
- Organized with Newhall neighbors for $8 million to repair homes in Hamden, and pushing for congregations to build affordable housing on their own land.
- $150 Million in Health Insurance savings
- Mayoral and Federal action on gun violence

- Housing, for making the case for Yes in God’s Backyard and the affordable homes our congregations can help build.
- Immigration, for standing up for immigrant families, often at real personal risk.
