Zoom Child Dedication – 3/21/21

Dear SUUS Families,

This week we conclude our exploration of the monthly theme “commitment,” and last Sunday was the highlight of it all as Faith Formation children were Dedicated to our beloved SUUS community. Together we welcomed Lucienne, Sebastian and Maeve and committed to love and support them and their families on their journeys through life. THANK YOU Families for your beautiful reflections. Your love for your children transcended across all virtual realms and opened our collective hearts. Thank you to all who joined, participated and supported the Dedication. Peace & Blessings to Lucienne, Sebastian and Maeve! I am so grateful to be part of your spiritual journey! Yay!!!!

This Sunday = Easter Egg Hunt! Grab your basket, mask and maybe an umbrella and head to Madison for 10am! This event will be RAIN OR SHINE! Please check tomorrow’s E-blast for address and more details!

See you on Sunday!

Love,
Amy

P.S. Did you remember that the music for last Sunday was chosen by the Children?! How awesome are they! I’ll recap in case you missed it:
“Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor (1982) chosen by Maeve
“I’ve Got Peace Like a River” by Marvin Frey (UU Hymn #100) chosen by Lucienne
“Yellow Submarine” by the Beatles (1966) chosen by Sebastian

P.P.S. And if you missed the service, you can check out a full recording here: https://www.shorelineunitarian.org/2021/03/22/watch-our-worship-service-3-21-2021-child-dedication-sunday-more/ (Thank you, Rev. Terry for making these recordings possible!)

WORSHIP
Sunday, March 28 at 10:30am: “From Utter Darkness” Palm Sunday, Rev. Terry Sweetser
Why did he do it? Why did Jesus go to Jerusalem for Passover when everyone knew the dark powers of his time would try to kill him? This question first arose for me in my sixth-grade Unitarian Universalist Sunday school class.

Please review the list below and if you are able, kindly deliver your items to the covered bins at the top outdoor stairs at SUUS.
