Sangha Community Forming at SUUS

Nancy Stone and Deborah McDonald hope to start a sangha, a community that provides encouragement which helps  individuals sustain practice amidst the challenges of daily life.  We will meet for about an hour, practice 20 minutes of mindful seated meditation, 10 minutes of walking meditation and share a Dhamma talk;  talks  that convey the principles and practices of the Dharma.  The Dharma refers to the teachings of the Buddha, encompassing the principles which guide ethical conduct and the nature of reality.  You do not need to practice Buddhism to join us!

We are working on what times would work and how many people would be interested.  Our hope is that we can start in mid-November.  Please contact Nancy Stone, Stonenan@comcast.net or Deborah McDonald, Deborahpaints@gmail.com if this interests you or if you have any questions!
