Religious Education News – February 14, 2018

Nate PawelekHappy Valentine’s Day!  Here’s a joke:  Their son, Tim Buck, 2, was walking at 17 months.

Thanks to all those who participated in the SUUS Orchestra performance last Sunday with the choir: Beatles’ “All You Need is Love.”  The choir did wonderfully!  The orchestra was stellar!

There will be NO religious education classes this Sunday, February 18 because of winter vacations from area schools. If your family is in town, come to church!  There will be an organized activity for the children.  Religious Education classes will resume on February 25.

Our annual Secret Pen Pals tradition is well under way!  There is NO official letter exchange this Sunday due to the break.  Use the week off to catch up! If you have not written three letters, here’s your chance!  As a reminder, don’t forget to ask your pen pals about the dinner and dessert preferences.  The identity-revealing dinner is Friday, March 16 at 6pm.  Adults need to bring the favorite dinner food of their pen pal; the children bring the favorite dessert food of their pen pal.

Letter exchange #4 will be on February 25.

You may have heard that we are having a big Talent Show on March 17.  We are looking for more acts!  Do you or your children have a talent that you would like to share?  Let me know! (No pressure—totally informal and fun!  You can tell a joke, for instance!)
