“Slavery in America and the Underground Railroad”
Dr. Rankin, who has biracial family ties, will chronicle the development of slavery in America and those who championed its abolishment, including a slide presentation on the underground railroad and various abolitionists, including John P. Parker, Rev. John Rankin and William Lloyd Garrison.
