Dear SUUS Singers,
The time has come for our next and final project of the year, and I’m happy to report that the goal will be an in-person outdoor video recording! Yippeee!!!! So here are the details:
- Nick has arranged a version of Carolyn McDade’s “Spirit of Life” for SATB and flute solo! THANK YOU, NICK! Our talented youth Sarah Swenson has accepted the part. WOW! How amazing is that?!
- Sheet music and practice backtracks will be emailed this week (PLEASE RSVP if you want to participate). This is the standard version of “Spirit of Life” so ANYONE is welcome to join us. Sing the melody or choose a harmony part. I know many of you have been missing community singing so here’s your opportunity!
- Tentative rehearsal schedule below. For the Zoom rehearsals PLEASE RSVP so I can send you the link.
- Safety is the number one priority. We will adhere to the SUUS Covid-19 Protocol Team’s recommendations and we will sing ONLY outdoors (for now anyways!).
