In June, we will share our plate with the Witness Stones Project, which was founded in 2017 in Guilford, CT. They seek to restore the history – and honor the humanity – of enslaved individuals who helped build our Connecticut communities. The hope is that communities that are committed to learning their history will dismantle current inequalities and build a just future.
Our Faith Formation youth have visited the witness stones on Guilford Green and have chosen the Witness Stones Project as an organization to support.
